Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions have quickly become an integral and essential feature of the evolving Drupalcon format. The open BoF format provides a platform for participatory discussions and focused collaborative work sessions. For many topics not included in the official Drupalcon schedule, this format is much more appropriate.
Unlike official sessions, BoF sessions -- which often take place in noisy corners rather than well-equipped rooms -- do not get recorded. Attendees have no central place to review and follow up. Likewise, people unable to attend Drupalcon miss the ability to soak up what happened and participate in post-session discussions.
Drupalcon Copenhagen one-upped previous Drupalcons by providing the ability to schedule BoF sessions (including the "room") right on the conference website. This made describing, promoting and attending BoF sessions a breeze.
This BoF schedule also provides an excellent opportunity for us to post notes, making them available to attendees and anyone interested.
If you coordinated or attended a BoF session and have notes to post, why not log into the Drupalcon Copenhagen site and post either the notes themselves or a link to an external blog post as a comment on the appropriate BoF session's description pages?
This could begin a trend to raise the status of BoF sessions to first class con citizenship.

I recognise that whiteboard...
Great point you have raised, as it's impossible to go to all the BoF sessions and still go to the regular sessions too. I have added some information to the bottom of http://cph2010.drupal.org/sessions/drupalcrm-native-drupal-based-crm and I hope others will do the same.
Done & done (Design for Drupal)
Excellent Idea.
Added BoF notes and a link to the on going discussion

I'm having trouble
I'm having trouble recovering my own notes from the session I was at with you...
- Drupal Workers Collective - I can't find the right name of the person
- Materials for study groups... which I blogged about today.
I found the page my notes should have been on... and see them empty(!) I had some chicken scratchings about burn-out at meet-ups, some notes about communities of practice... but not much more. I'm wishing we wrote a list of attendees.
Next time, I'm takin names.

Similar situation here
Heather:
I have the exact same problem and was lamenting my lack of foresight to get everyone's name. But, I do know that the collective is Koumbit, http://www.koumbit.org/, and Sofian Bonaîssa was representing Koumbit at our session.
That said, I'm eager to read your post on study group materials -- an idea that was a great addition to the discussion at the BoF session.
Thanks for following up,
Barry
