Yesterday, I went to the entertaining and informative Open Circuits event, held by the Twin Cities Open Circuit, a new local knowledge-sharing network working to demystify computers and information technology. In keeping with their ten-minute-talk format, I spoke briefly about my thoughts on supporting open source. I'll share them here.
Two weeks ago at the TC Drupal meeting, then again this past week at Lab Hours, the issue of using Drupal to create and maintain an image gallery came up. The general agreement amongst attendees at both gatherings was that using CCK, Imagefield, Imagecache and Views is the way to go but that no configuration of such was making everyone happy.
The Advantage Labs, Inc. managed Drupal repository is available for public checkout and browsing.
