GreatRiverNVC.org is a regional NVC (Nonviolent Communication) website. It is a non-profit, loosely organized group that organizes NVC trainings in the Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota area. People with a role of "facilitator" on the website can post trainings and events. Anyone can offer specific services (empathy, mediation, rides to events and housing for events for out-of-town trainers and participants) to others in the community.
This is a Drupal 6 website utilizing the new event 'repeating date' options with the calendar, so that each occurrence of an event is displayed on the calendar. Each event can become an organic group. A facilitator can invite people to become members of the event group. Facilitators can then update the members of the group by posting news in the group.
