Advantage Labs helped the Healthy Teens Coalition build an information-rich website in support of the Healthy Teens Act in Florida. We helped them with Information Architecture, design, and custom programming, and it's being hosted on our Managed Drupal Hosting infrastructure.
The Healthy Teens Coalition wanted an easy way to display information for all 67 of Florida's counties. By selecting a county on their clickable map of Florida, you can view statistics, census information, and other details about that county. Site administrators can also add videos, news, and other resources.
Barry Madore
Barry Madore brings a variety of skills to Advantage Labs having spent the last 20 years working in technology, the arts and community development for various Twin Cities nonprofits. Most recently, Barry spent 5 years working with MAP for Nonprofits as a technology circuit rider for other nonprofit organizations . After leaving MAP, he spent nearly two years as a graphic designer and online community developer for Intermedia Arts. Currently at Advantage Labs, Inc., he is happily building websites using the Drupal open source CMS platform and providing Drupal training for users and developers. Allie Micka
Allie has been an open source developer and advocate since 2001. She has worked on several open source applications, including 3 years of extensive development and participation in the Drupal project. Through her hosting and services work, she has provided active sponsorship and education in local communities, and now works on education, infrastructure and open source development at Advantage Labs. Prior to this, Allie was the the team manager of web development for a major online brokerage, which taught her to apply enterprise business strategies to sustainable community participation.
Bobbi Anderson
Bobbi Anderson is a co-founder of Advantage Labs, Inc. Before founding Advantage Labs, Bobbi worked for over 20 years to identify and implement IT requirements at businesses of all sizes. Working in both the United States and abroad, she represented large firms such as IBM and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and smaller companies in industries such as retail, consumer goods, city services and real estate. She has leveraged these skills to manage and create user-friendly Drupal community-driven sites.
