Native America OnTheWeb is a web portal Yahoo style directory with over 1500 peices of content thus far. If multiple directory category listings are appropriate, artists / businesses can be entered in more than one.
Artists and businesses can log on and control thier own content while I maintain control of the aesthetics of the whole site. YouTube videos and mp3 soundclips display on thier Bio pages PLUS in a view that displays the video and mp3s of ALL artists. And of course when displayed amoungst all artists, their clips are linked back to their Bio pages. Additionally, each one is conected to Amazon promoting the sale of their books, CDs and mp3s.
Artists can advertise with square pictures ads that are displayed in a choice of top or side banners and connected to their Bio page. They can log in and see how many times their ad has been viewed verses how many times it has been clicked on. I can set limits on views and put them on hold for a later time. Advertisers can be automatically emailed daily or weekly banner statistics.
Artists / businesses can add upcoming appearances / events to their page which automatically appear in our main Events Calendar. I also have added the following tags that our audience can tag peices of content:
