This week's Lab Hours: HTML tags you want, HTML tags you don't want, and Arguments ( the good kind )

A jam-packed week once again.  There were many exclamations of "Yessss!", so I hope it was also productive.  It's fun to watch people work as the lightbulb pops on.  In fact, there were so many lightbulbs, we blew a fuse!  (This may also have been laptop-related )

  • Kara is working on contextualized help text, and finding that she can edit it for content types, contact forms, and other parts of the site.
  • Tara is starting her new site and is dusting up on what she learned at our classes.  She's catching up on the basics of themeing and listing content with viewfield.  She's back on track ( until tomorrow, when she claims she'll forget again ).   I'm pretty sure it's going to stick.
  • Maryann is learning more about views and filters
  • Jay is creating RSS feeds for TCDailyPlanet, and building a panel page for Fringe Festival bloggers, embedding blog views with 5 separate arguments.
  • Kristin started her video advocacy dialog!  She's looking for "safe" ways of embedding videos into comments, and it's proving to be a pain.
  • Kay is working with pathauto, organic groups, and TinyMCE formatting for Word's "Junk" text.
  • Steve set out to do "everything" today, but stuck to building galleries for his new projects.  Working with views, arguments, fields, and filters, plus the video we linked to here, he's getting cool stuff done!
  • Lindagail is adding audio to her NAOTW artists
  • Tim wasn't around, so we'll hold off on advanced views and menus

It was fun watching folks share ideas and learn from each other about Drupal and non-Drupal tips.  "You learn something new every day!"
