The weeks' lab hours: Lab hours on a Friday?

Lab hours on a Friday?  That's right!  With all the new recruits from our training classes and the local Drupal community, our growing groups is starting to need an additional timeslot. Since Barry and I will be in Szeged next week, we decided to try out a second time slot on Friday morning.  So far so good!

  • Don is deploying "twisties": he's got calendar views in his event content types.  They look great, but they take up a lot of space.  Instead of removing this handy info, he wants to hide it inside of a link.  Since the calendar is placed into the show through a View Field, he can put the event listing into a CCK field group.
  • Kristin has got her newsletter all set up, but still needs a 
  • Kay has set up her newsletter as well, and is in the process of testing it out.
  • Lindagail set up her portfolio with imagecache and thickbox.  She's working though setting matching 
  • Maryann is setting up webforms on her site, and learning the ropes of
  • Tim's going to go ahead and use the gotcha plugin for captcha.  As a developer for academic websites, he also spent some time watching the Universities using Drupal screencast.
