This week's Lab Hours: Project Management, Newsletters and Sandboxes

We got a lot done today! As new Alliance members from our recent training class are showing up, it was nice to go around and get everyone introduced. Then we got down to business:

  • Maryann and, Kara and Tara learned the in's and outs of our project management system, and how to use it to get support from Advantage Labs AND manage their own projects.
  • Tammy, while troubleshooting CSS and rendering issues, elected to to register IEIsEvil.com!
  • Tim has set up secure access, which he claims has solved all of his needs. He also worked through CSS issues with Tammy
  • Lindagail set up her newsletters with banners and surrounding text
  • Kay set up her newsletters for her upcoming site launch.
  • Jake worked on advanced newsletters by adding images and ad groups to each newsletter mailing! I'm personally excited about this, and recently added the ability to use different input formats for newsletters. I also gave him a 2-minute rundown on Drupal's API and hooks system.
  • Matthew worked on setting up his local development environment against our SVN server.

Whew! What a session!
